We purchased 2 pedestals as CA now requires a dryer installed in a garage to be placed 18 in off the ground. The manufacturer's pedestals were not tall enough. So I went searching the internet and found these. I was confused with the size to order to fit my washer/dryer. Customer service, the owner, answered my email question in a few hours and kept me informed on shipping dates so I could schedule delivery of the appliances. However, when my husband started to assemble the first one, he found the frame was bent, and the screws would not line up. He ended up using a rubber mallet to straighten it. It was very frustrating, as he is not a young man anymore. He is in PT for a painful shoulder, and straightening the frame increased his pain. He said the directions, as well as the video, were also unclear to him, especially for the pull out tray. At that point, he called our handyman to come and put the second pedestal together. Even he was a bit confused with the directions!
The rest of the process went smoothly. The washer and dryer fit perfectly on the 27-inch pedestal, and they seem very stable and sturdy.
When I emailed the company about our problems, the owner very quickly responded appropriately
