Where does the water go?

Into the built-in pan, then out the included hose to a floor drain (or a compact condensate pump).

No floor drain—can I still use it?

Yes, you can use the provided drain plug to capture up to 3 gallons of water inside the drain pan. We recommend adding a water leak alarm to alert you of leaks. You can also connect the hose to another container or bucket to capture the water leak.

What if my washer leaks will the pedestal help manage the water?

Yes! The EZ Laundry pedestal is thoughtfully designed with a built-in drainage system that helps collect and channel away any minor water leaks. This means you don’t need a separate tray or container the pedestal itself helps keep your laundry area dry and protected.

How long does install take & what tools?

~15 minutes with the provided tools. An extra hand and power tools could speed up the process even more.

Does it reduce vibration?

The welded steel frame and cross bars help to minimize vibrations by providing a sturdy and stable base. The adjustable feet also help to ensure a level pedestal to keep vibrations at a minimum.
